William Randolph Hearst Non-Traditional Scholarship

A scholarship through the William Randolph Hearst Foundation provides charitable activities and programs. The Hearst Foundations are national philanthropic resources for organizations working in the fields of culture, education, health, and social services. This scholarship through the foundation is for eligible students seeking their first bachelor’s degree and who demonstrate unmet needs.

Requirements:

• part-time enrollment (new or current)

• minimum of 6 credits

• must complete a FAFSA, Institutional Aid form, scholarship application and essay

• must present a cross-cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher prior to enrollment at UB; a cumulative GPA of 3.0 at UB

• Recipient must continue to reside in US after completion of studies; may be used for summer enrollment in certain circumstances.*
