University of Maryland Alumni Association (AA-I)

The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarship support for University students who meet the following criteria:

(a) An applicant must be enrolled full-time at the University as an undergraduate student. The preference is to award this scholarship to incoming freshmen students and transfer students.

(b) A recipient must be a resident of the State of Maryland (as defined in the University System of Maryland Board of Regents Policy on Student Residency Classification for Admission, Tuition and Charge-Differential Purposes).

© A recipient must have an overall grade point average of at least 3.25.

(d) Preference may be given to an applicant who demonstrates financial need. Need is determined by an applicant’s completion of a current FAFSA form which must be submitted by published financial aid deadlines.
